Research at the Department Our research interests range from theoretical research on early evolution, through single molecule studies, to molecular processes in whole organisms. We work on Drosophila immunity, regeneration in salamanders, molecular evolution, ribonucleotide reduction, insect physiology and innate immunity, chromatin structure and pre-mRNA processing, biogenesis of mRNA and rRNA, triple-helix DNA and RNA, and RNA editing. Please contact group leaders directly if you are interested in pursuing a degree project, graduate or postdoctoral training in one of our research programs. |
